The potential acquisition would deepen Masayoshi Son’s push into robotics and AI, including plans to use autonomous robots in security services and Allied’s exposure to data centre security. Most of the sales were made under prearranged trading plans, while roughly $40m was related to sell-to-cover transactions for taxes on vested stock.
The disposals come as CoreWeave rapidly expands its data center footprint and spending on Nvidia chips, with a revenue backlog above $129bn and annual capital expenditure forecast at $35bn-$39bn. Investor concerns have focused on the debt required to finance that expansion.
