Radoff-JEC Group submits further improved proposal to acquire Seer. (Press Release)

Bradley Radoff and Michael Torok, who collectively own about 7.7% of Seer, have submitted an improved non-binding proposal to acquire the company for $2.55 per share in cash plus a contingent value right. The offer represents their fourth bid and values shareholders' potential consideration through both an upfront payment and proceeds from future asset sales.

The proposal is subject to limited due diligence and remains open until August 10. The investors stated the bid is not subject to financing and urged Seer's special committee to engage in negotiations.

Perpetual has rejected EQT's latest takeover proposal, stating the revised offer of $1.78bn, or $15.7 per share, is not in shareholders' best interests. The Australian wealth manager will, however, grant the Swedish buyout firm limited due diligence access as it considers a potential improved bid.

EQT has raised its offer three times as it pursues Perpetual, with the latest proposal representing a 19% premium to the company's closing share price before the bid.

Quanta Computer is seeking to raise up to $2.19bn through a global depositary share offering, in what could become Taiwan's largest share sale in 19 years. The Nvidia partner is offering 49m securities at $43.91 to $44.77 each.

The offering is priced at a 6% to 7.8% discount to Quanta's latest closing share price in Taipei.

Moonshot Al surpasses funding goal to hit $35bn value. (Bloomberg)

Moonshot AI has raised $3.5bn in a funding round that values the Chinese artificial intelligence startup at $35bn, exceeding its initial fundraising target. The National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund was among the lead investors.

The company is already preparing another funding round at a $50bn pre-money valuation ahead of a potential Hong Kong IPO as soon as 2026.
