CoreWeave has signed a $21bn agreement to supply AI computing capacity to Meta through 2032, expanding its relationship with the social media company as it ramps up efforts to develop advanced AI models. 

The deal will see CoreWeave provide cloud capacity from multiple data centers powered in part by Nvidia’s Rubin systems, building on a prior $14.2bn agreement that runs through 2031.

General Atlantic has completed the acquisition of home-care provider Team Services Holding in a deal valued at about $3bn, including debt. 
 
The company agreed to acquire the business from Alpine Investors earlier in 2026, with the transaction closing last week at a valuation of roughly 10 times earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization.
 
BTG deal to buy Digimais gets insurance fund support. (Bloomberg)

Banco BTG Pactual’s proposed acquisition of Banco Digimais, a Brazilian lender in need of capital, is receiving support from the country’s deposit insurance fund, FGC. Digimais holds about BRL9.1bn ($1.8bn) in demand and time deposits that could require coverage in the event of liquidation. 

The FGC is also considering extending maturities on the bank’s debt to the fund as part of the process. Discussions are ongoing and may not result in a finalized transaction.
 
US Lithium developer to list on Nasdaq in a $573m SPAC deal. (Bloomberg)

US Elemental, a lithium developer backed by Australia’s Jindalee Lithium, is planning to go public on Nasdaq through a merger with Constellation Acquisition Corp I in a deal valuing the company at about $573m. 

The transaction, expected in the second half of 2026, will support funding for a lithium project in Oregon.

Anthropic employees have completed a secondary share sale to investors following a tender offer launched earlier in 2026. 

The transaction was conducted at the same valuation as the company’s most recent fundraising in February, which valued the AI firm at about $350bn, excluding $30bn in capital raised. Demand from investors exceeded the limited number of shares available for sale.

Avalyn Pharma, a biopharmaceutical company developing inhaled treatments for respiratory diseases, has filed for a US initial public offering. 

The Boston-based company is focused on therapies for pulmonary fibrosis, a condition with a median survival rate of three to five years, according to its filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mercer, the investment arm of Marsh & McLennan, has raised just over $3.8bn for its latest private markets fund. 

Mercer Private Investment Partners VIII attracted commitments from institutional investors, including wealth managers, endowments, insurers and pension funds. The fund will invest across private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate.
 
Pentagon's ouster of Anthropic opens doors for small AI rivals. (Reuters)

Defense-focused artificial intelligence startups are seeing a surge in interest from military officials and investors following a breakdown in the US Department of Defense’s relationship with Anthropic. 

Smaller companies such as Smack Technologies and EdgeRunner AI have reported increased outreach, including potential contract discussions and investor inquiries, as the Pentagon looks to diversify its pool of AI providers.

Raiffeisen Bank International is planning a takeover bid for smaller peer Addiko Bank, valuing the lender at about €449.5m ($524.2m) as it seeks to expand its presence in Central and Southeastern Europe. 

The Vienna-based group is offering €23.05 ($26.8) per share in cash, representing a premium to the bank’s assessed intrinsic equity value.

Galp Energia buys a wind portfolio in Spain in a €320m deal. (Bloomberg)

Galp Energia has agreed to acquire an onshore wind portfolio in Spain from Helia Funds in a deal valued at about €320m ($373m), as the company accelerates efforts to expand its clean energy portfolio beyond solar. 

The transaction, which includes 17 wind farms, will increase Galp’s total installed renewable capacity to around 2GW. Helia Funds is backed by Plenium Partners and Bankinter Investment.

mBank, a Polish subsidiary of Commerzbank, is working with UniCredit on a significant risk transfer tied to a portfolio of commercial real estate loans.

Walker Corp. and Malaysian tycoon Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary are considering an initial public offering of their joint venture, WM Senibong, that could raise up to MYR500m ($125m). 

The property developer, which focuses on projects including luxury homes in Malaysia’s Johor state, is working with financial advisers on the plan and may seek a valuation of more than MYR2bn ($502m) in a Kuala Lumpur listing for 2027. Seven & i Holdings will delay the planned initial public offering of its US convenience-store business, citing the need for more time to improve performance and navigate uncertain market conditions. 

The retailer now aims to strengthen the unit and maximize its valuation ahead of a listing within the current fiscal year ending February 2027. The IPO had previously been targeted for the final months of 2026.
