Nigerian National Petroleum Company is in discussions to secure about $2bn in financing from Nexus Alliance.
The funds, which are expected to be received early next year, would be used to repair and upgrade pipelines damaged by theft and vandalism, as well as to reduce leaks. Talks are ongoing and have not yet been finalized.

FAW Group, a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer, agreed to acquire a 5% stake in Leapmotor, a Chinese automobile manufacturer headquartered in Hangzhou, specializing in developing electric vehicles, for $534m, according to press releases.
Indorama Investment, a chemicals company, agreed to acquire Anyang Nitrogen Fertilizer, a major fertilizer producer, from PAG, an Asia-focused alternative investment firm, according to press releases. Financial terms were not disclosed.

GSM, the electric-vehicle taxi arm of Vingroup, is planning an initial public offering in Hong Kong that could mark the first listing in the city by a Vietnamese company.
Officially known as Green and Smart Mobility, the company is targeting a valuation of $2bn to $3bn in an offering that could take place between late 2026 and early 2027.
