A consortium led by GO Residential REIT, including Blackstone Real Estate, Crestpoint Real Estate Investments, PSP Investments, and CRAL, a family office controlled by H&R CEO Tom Hofstedter, agreed to acquire H&R REIT, a Toronto-based Canadian open-ended real estate investment trust, in a CAD6.7bn deal. As part of the transaction, GO REIT will acquire H&R’s US residential and selected office and mixed-use assets, while Blackstone, Crestpoint, PSP Investments and CRAL will acquire certain Canadian industrial and remaining non-core assets, according to press releases.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has brought settled fraud charges against Adit Ventures Management, its founder and three partners over pre-IPO investments in companies including Klarna and SpaceX.

The regulator alleged that Adit misrepresented investments and used client funds for its own benefit. The firm agreed to a settlement involving disgorgement and a civil penalty without admitting the allegations, while founder Eric Munson denied the claims.
 
Harvey in talks to raise funding at $15.5bn valuation. (The Information)

Legal AI startup Harvey is in talks to raise at least $500m at a valuation of about $15.5bn, including the new investment. Lightspeed Venture Partners has expressed interest in leading the financing.

The proposed valuation would be about 40% above the $11bn level Harvey reached in its $200m funding round in March 2026. The company, which provides AI tools for law firms and legal teams, has increased annualised revenue to more than $350m from about $190m in January 2026.
