The alternative arrangement could allow eBay to use GameStop’s roughly 1.6k US stores, with the companies seeking to expand their presence in higher-margin categories such as trading cards and collectibles.

Javvy is exploring a sale that could value the functional beverage company at around $1bn. The South Carolina-based business has hired Houlihan Lokey to run the process, which is still at an early stage.
Founded in 2020, Javvy sells protein coffee powders, concentrates and other functional drinks and generates nearly $300m in annual revenue. Its backers include Amberstone Ventures, Platinum Mile Ventures and Selva Ventures.
Intel selling $15bn in common stock as AI demand booms. ( Bloomberg)
Intel plans to raise $15bn through a common stock offering, seeking to strengthen its balance sheet while funding growth opportunities linked to rising AI infrastructure demand.
The chipmaker said proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including investments in physical AI, purpose-built silicon, advanced packaging and external wafer manufacturing, while maintaining its investment-grade credit rating.
Legal AI startup Harvey is in talks to raise at least $500m at a valuation of about $15.5bn, including the new investment. Lightspeed Venture Partners has expressed interest in leading the financing.
The proposed valuation would be about 40% above the $11bn level Harvey reached in its $200m funding round in March 2026. The company, which provides AI tools for law firms and legal teams, has increased annualised revenue to more than $350m from about $190m in January 2026.

Nichols, an international soft drinks company, completed the acquisition of VITHIT, a beverage company that develops and markets functional drinks fortified with vitamins and other nutritional ingredients, for €75m ($86.7m), according to press releases.

A consortium led by Amit Bhatia and including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin is close to acquiring a stake of more than 30% in Liverpool FC from Fenway Sports Group.
The transaction is expected to value Liverpool at around $6bn and could be announced as soon as this week. If completed, the consortium would become a major minority shareholder and could eventually position itself for a larger ownership role in the club.

The Italian Sea Group has launched a competitive sale process as part of its restructuring after entering insolvency proceedings in July 2026. The process follows unsolicited interest from several parties, including Sanlorenzo-backed investors, SRI Global, Azimut Benetti and Ferretti.
The transaction could take the form of either an asset sale covering the group’s shipyards, brands and selected subsidiaries, or a share deal involving a capital increase to recapitalise the business. Non-binding bids are due by 15 September 2026, with binding offers expected by 15 October 2026.

Vertical Aerospace is seeking to raise about $100m in fresh equity to support the development and commercialisation of its electric aircraft. Around $35m is expected to come from existing institutional investors, with Mudrick Capital Management and Yorkville Advisors among the main backers.
The fundraising comes shortly after the company entered advanced talks with the UK government over a grant of up to £10m ($13.5m) for domestic production facilities. Vertical Aerospace is developing its six-seat Valo electric aircraft and is targeting certification in 2029.

Nscale is in talks with investors to raise about $2bn, just over three months after completing its previous funding round. The UK-based AI infrastructure company is working with Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan on the fundraising.
Nscale develops large-scale data centre infrastructure for AI workloads and raised more than $1.5bn across two rounds in September and October 2025. The company has partnerships with Nvidia and OpenAI.
Onto Innovation, an American semiconductor company, completed the acquisition of a 27% stake in Rigaku, a manufacturer and distributor of scientific, analytical and industrial instrumentation, from Carlyle, an American multinational alternative asset management firm, for $710m, according to press releases.

Hindustan Copper plans to sell copper concentrate from Chilean mining assets it is seeking to acquire from Codelco to Indian buyers including Hindalco and Adani. The state-owned miner is also in discussions with Codelco over a potential joint venture to develop and market copper.
Hindustan Copper, Coal India and NTPC Mining are evaluating four mining blocks in Chile, with due diligence ongoing. Any project would be long-dated, with production potentially still about a decade away, as India looks to secure additional copper supply amid rising domestic demand.

Bloomberg Intelligence estimates Shein could be valued at between $22bn and $25bn in its planned IPO, below the $30bn level targeted by some investors.
The valuation implies about 13x to 15x projected 2027 earnings, with BI forecasting profit of roughly $1.67bn in 2026 as freight and tariff pressures ease, followed by annual earnings growth of about 20% through 2029.
